Alexandria Charles

Lead Educator

Alexandria Charles was inspired to join Brighton Center after experiencing the incredible support her own daughter received through the program. Witnessing the positive impact it had on her family sparked a desire to give back—to be part of a team that uplifts children and helps families feel seen, supported, and empowered.

One of Alexandria’s most meaningful teaching moments came when a child connected a sound to an object for the very first time. That small but powerful spark of understanding opened the door to continued learning and connection. Watching that child make new associations, day after day, reminded Alexandria of the deep importance of patience, presence, and encouragement in a child’s growth.

In her classroom, Alexandria hopes to be a steady, positive light. She aims to support and uplift each child, helping them believe in themselves and recognize that they are capable of reaching goals they once thought were out of reach.

What Alexandria loves most about Brighton is the culture of belief and resilience. It’s a place where children and families are encouraged every day to do their best, grow through challenges, and celebrate every milestone along the way.

To families, Alexandria shares:
“Thank you for trusting me with your child. They teach me more than you’d imagine, and it’s truly a gift to be a part of their journey.”
