Infant Classroom

Infant Classroom 6 Weeks – 18 Months

Your baby’s first classroom should feel like a loving extension of home. Our infant caregivers create a calm, nurturing environment where each child can safely explore the world around them. We honor your baby’s individual needs with personalized daily schedules for eating, sleeping, and play – because every baby develops at their own perfect pace.

From tiny discoveries to big milestones... We brighten every moment.

Individualized Care for Your Baby’s First Steps

With our Infant Classroom’s low educator-to-child ratio, teachers have the time and opportunity to engage young infants in tummy time, grasping activities, and reading. Infants will be held when bottle-fed and whenever they need comfort.

What Your Baby Will Experience:

  • Individualized daily schedules for eating, sleeping, and play times
  • Daily outside time and sensory exploration
  • Planned art activities appropriate for developing motor skills
  • Block play and soft climbing area for physical development
  • Loving, responsive caregivers who understand infant development

Our Approach:

  • All infant schedules are individualized and we work with families monthly to ensure your baby is thriving
  • Daily communication through the Procare Mobile app, so you never miss a moment
  • Inclusion from the start encourages babies to learn alongside peers of all abilities

Building Strong Foundations

In the Brighton Infant Classroom, Children Will Develop:

  • Self-help skills appropriate for their developmental stage
  • Fine and gross motor skills through tummy time and exploration
  • Early language and literacy skills through reading and conversation
  • Social and emotional skills through responsive caregiving
  • Cognitive skills through sensory-rich experiences
  • Early creativity through age-appropriate art and music

Brighton’s Specialized Support:

  • Preschool Inclusion Team (PIT) available for developmental support
  • Collaborative approach with families as partners

Our Infant Specialists

Our educators genuinely care for each baby in their care and have the focused training to create nurturing experiences that support early development. At least one teacher in each infant classroom has a college degree in education or a closely related field.

What Sets Our Team Apart:

  • Specialized infant development training – 30+ hours annually
  • Stable, experienced staff – 90% of teachers have been with Brighton for more than a year
  • Ongoing support from an experienced administrative team
  • Substitute teachers on staff so your baby always has familiar faces

Staying Connected Throughout Your Baby’s Day

Daily Schedule: All infant schedules are individualized. Families complete a Daily Routine Form monthly in cooperation with their Infant Classroom educator to ensure children are thriving. Babies enjoy daily outside time, art activities, and classroom exploration in a general routine to develop their sense of time.

Parent Communication with Procare Mobile: We understand that parents play a vital role in their baby’s development. We involve families in ongoing activities and meet regularly to discuss your child’s developmental progress and goals.

Real Experiences from Infant Families

"My son has attended the Najim campus starting at 6 months, and he is now 18 months old. For the past year, he has received wonderful care at Brighton Center, and I am so happy that we chose this school. The ladies at Brighton have gone above and beyond helping my wife and me feel comfortable each and every day, and I know they truly love my son. He is always full of smiles and loves seeing his 'Ms. Julie's and Ms. Jena's every morning."
- John D., Brighton Parent
"Brighton was our first childcare experience, and honestly, it has set the bar so high for any other childcare for us. The teachers and staff are so caring and communicative. Our son was in the transition classroom and had the absolute best teachers. My son would leave my arms to go to Ms. Raeny. He absolutely loved it at Brighton."
- Adara E., Brighton Parent
