Kayla Hill

Lead Educator

Kayla has been working in early childhood education for nearly four years and has spent the past two years growing, learning, and thriving alongside the Brighton Preschool team. From the moment she joined Brighton, Kayla knew it was exactly where she was meant to be. The

organization’s mission and core values—compassion, inclusion, growth, and unwavering support—are values Kayla lives by in her work and in her heart.

For Kayla, the most rewarding part of her role is witnessing each child’s growth and being present for the small and powerful moments that shape their development. One of the most unforgettable experiences in her career was working with a nonverbal child who used an AAC device. After weeks of consistent support, he used his device to ask for food—then later that day, he looked up at Kayla and said, “I love you,” using the same device. That emotional moment, filled with pride and joy, reinforced for Kayla the deep importance of her work and the lifelong impact it has on each child.

Kayla is committed to creating a classroom where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. She strives to build a space that is not only safe and nurturing but also full of joy, comfort, and encouragement. Her goal is to be a consistent source of support and love, not just for the children in her care but also for their families.

To parents, Kayla shares:
“I promise to love your child as if they were my own. We will grow together, laugh together, and build a bond that feels like family. Your trust means everything to me, and I am so grateful to walk alongside you in your child’s journey.”
