Lauren Clancy was drawn to Brighton Center’s unwavering commitment to inclusion and its mission to ensure that every child, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to learn and thrive in a supportive environment. As someone who has spent her career in early childhood education, she was inspired by the way Brighton combines high-quality early learning with individualized therapeutic support.
One of Lauren’s proudest moments was witnessing the collaboration between the preschool teachers and therapy team that helped a student take her first independent steps on the playground using a gait trainer. It was the result of months of intentional planning, patience, and shared dedication. Watching her classmates cheer her on reminded her why inclusion matters so deeply and why the work they do is truly life-changing.
Lauren sees her role as creating environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn, while ensuring educators have the tools and support they need to succeed. She works closely with teams to maintain high-quality standards, implement developmentally appropriate practices, and foster strong partnerships with families. By aligning vision and daily practices, she helps ensure that every child’s educational journey is both joyful and impactful.
What Lauren loves most about the Brighton community is the sense of unity and purpose. Every department, from therapy to preschool to support services, works together toward a shared mission. There’s a genuine atmosphere of encouragement where successes are celebrated, challenges are met with teamwork, and every child’s progress is valued as a collective achievement.
To families, Lauren shares: “I want our families to know that their trust means everything to us. We understand the significance of what it means to care for their children and the responsibility that comes with it. Every smile, milestone, and breakthrough we see is as meaningful to us as it is to them. Their partnership inspires us to continuously grow, innovate, and provide the very best for their children — not just as educators, but as a community that truly cares.”
