Raeny Maciel

Lead Educator

Raeny Maciel was drawn to Brighton Center for its truly inclusive approach—seeing children for who they are, not for their diagnosis. She values being part of a place where every child is embraced, celebrated, and supported regardless of ability.

One of Raeny’s most memorable experiences was watching the incredible progress of a student over the course of a year. On his first day, he cried all day, had difficulty self-soothing, and used no words or social skills. Today, he can name all his peers, has close friends he loves to play with, and communicates through both signs and verbal cues. Witnessing that transformation has been a powerful reminder of how much growth can happen with patience, consistency, and love.

Raeny’s hope is that every child who walks into her classroom feels safe, cared for, and valued. She strives to create an environment where they can learn, grow, and reach milestones at their own pace.

What Raeny loves most about Brighton is its unwavering mission—to serve all children and to celebrate every milestone along the way.

To families, Raeny shares:
“I love each child as if they were my own. Seeing their growth each and every day is what makes my heart happy.”
