Sara Romeyn

Assistant Educator

Sara Romeyn knew from the moment she found Brighton that it was the kind of place she wanted to be. As a mother to a child with medical needs who later required speech and physical therapy, she deeply values the kind of inclusive, supportive environment that Brighton provides. For Sara, being part of a center that prioritizes each child’s unique journey is not only meaningful—it’s personal.

What brings Sara joy each day is being surrounded by Brighton’s incredible children and compassionate staff. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is witnessing how children begin to communicate in their own unique ways. Whether through words, gestures, or devices, seeing them find their voice is a moment she never takes for granted.

Sara’s favorite thing about the Brighton community is its shared commitment to making every family’s experience positive and empowering. That collective purpose is what makes the work so impactful.

She looks forward to getting to know each child’s personality, quirks, and strengths—creating a space where every child is celebrated for exactly who they are.
