Toddler Classroom

Toddler Classroom 18 Months – 2 1/2 Years Old

Our Toddler Classroom is thoughtfully designed for energetic little ones transitioning from the infant stage into full-on preschoolers. We channel your toddler’s boundless curiosity and energy into meaningful learning experiences that build independence, language skills, and social readiness.

Every new word, every brave step... We celebrate all your child's milestones.

Where Independence and Confidence Bloom

Children in our toddler classroom are full of energy and eager to learn about new things. Our educators offer numerous opportunities for both physical activities and learning in a safe, nurturing environment that respects each child’s developmental stage.

What Your Toddler Will Experience:

  • Language explosion support – we celebrate all new words and encourage communication
  • Independence building – self-help skills like feeding, washing hands, and following routines
  • Social-emotional growth – learning to share, take turns, and express feelings appropriately
  • Physical development – climbing, running, jumping in safe, supervised environments
  • Creative expression – age-appropriate art, music, and dramatic play

Our Specialized Approach:

  • Low 1:6 educator-to-child ratio – more individual attention during this crucial stage

Staying Connected Through Your Toddler’s Day

Daily Schedule: Our daily schedule offers toddlers every opportunity for exploration, introduces new concepts, and fosters socialization in both large and small groups. Children learn about nature through outside play twice a day and enjoy quiet time to process their morning learning.

Parent Communication with Procare Mobile: We understand that parents need to stay connected during this rapidly changing stage. We involve families in ongoing activities and meet regularly to discuss your child’s developmental progress, milestones, and any transitions they’re experiencing.

Real Experiences from Toddler Families

"My two boys are now attending Brighton. We tried enrolling my 2-year-old at another daycare, and he hated it. He would cry as soon as he saw the school, and he was always crying when I picked him up. Needless to say, we took him out in less than a week and looked for another daycare for him and my infant. That's when we found Brighton. It's night and day at Brighton! We are on our second week, and he's already excited to go to school each morning."
- Maricela, Brighton Parent
"Brighton Center at the Monte Vista location has been a wonderful experience for my toddler! In two months since starting, he picked up so many new skills - he's talking more, drinking from an open cup, and using utensils to eat like a pro, and loves all the crafting and outdoor playtime they do. The transition room teachers, Ms. Valerie and Ms. Ruby Jo, have been so loving and really helped my son adjust to daycare for the first time."
- Suraya K., Brighton Parent
